About Us

The Uganda Assemblies of God first started in 1979 on the eastern border of the nation when Assemblies of God missionaries crossed over the border from Kenya to preach the gospel in the rural mountainous village of Suam. Today, there are more than 500 churches with a total membership of 40,000 believers. The church is focused on making disciples of all nations through training, evangelism, church planting, and various socio-humanitarian endeavors.

The Uganda Assemblies of God holds full membership with the East Africa Assemblies of God Alliance, Africa Assemblies of God Alliance and the World Assemblies of God Fellowship.
